AMA Million Draw

| For the past four months, 11 October 2010 till 31 January 2011, Bridge city shoppers and tenants alike have been early anticipating the final draw for the Ama Million competition. Shoppers that spent R100 or more stood the chance of winning R30 000 in shopping vouchers, a brand new Chevrolet spark and the grand prize of R1 Million. Preparations were in the pipeline, stage was set and the crowd grew slowly but surely on the beautiful day of 05 February 2011. Locally celebrated Mc “Half Brown” cheered the event with charisma and humor. Shoppers showed off their varied talents of singing and dancing. Winners took home caps, t-shirts and varied appliances sponsored by Bridge City Tenants. Unfortunately nobody guessed the seven digit serial number; however that didn’t spoil the festivities of the day. Third Prize R30 000 worth of shopping vouchers went to Siyabongs Nojiyeza, who expressed his joy in doing a summersault on stage. Second prize, brand new Chevrolet spark sponsored by Willem Hunt, went to Joyce Gugu Msomi who showed off her slick driving skills on the parking lot. Bridge City would like to thank all sponsors who contributed to the success of the Ama Million campaign. It truly was a spectacular day of fun, song and dance.
